About the role

Brighton Dermatology is seeking a Dermatology Nurse (EN or RN) to join our dedicated clinical team in Brighton, VIC on a part-time basis.
n
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse with an interest in dermatology to work closely alongside our dermatologists and develop your skills across a broad range of dermatological treatments and procedures.
n
The successful candidate will play an important role in providing high-quality, patient-centred care while supporting the clinical team and day-to-day operation of our practice.
n
Key responsibilities
n
n
Assisting with UV phototherapy treatments and patient care
n
Providing patients with skincare and topical treatment consultations
n
Performing treatments including extractions, LED, TCA, PDT and cantharidin
n
Assisting dermatologists with a range of procedures and treatments
n
Providing patients with post-operative advice, wound care and follow-up care
n
Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring equipment is clean, prepared and ready for use
n
Cleaning, sterilising and maintaining clinical equipment and instruments
n
Maintaining high standards of infection control, hygiene and clinical safety
n
Completing accurate and timely consultation and treatment documentation
n
Supporting the smooth flow of patients through the clinic
n
Providing a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience for all patients
n

What we're looking for
n
n
Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse (EN) or Registered Nurse (RN)
n
Previous dermatology nursing experience is highly regarded
n




A genuine interest in developing or expanding your knowledge and skills in dermatology
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
A warm, professional and patient-focused approach
n
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate clinical documentation
n
Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a small, collaborative team
n
Strong understanding of infection control and clinical safety
n
Current First Aid and CPR certification
n
Experience with dermatological procedures, phototherapy or cosmetic treatments is desirable
n
