Hyatt Centric Melbourne is seeking a passionate and experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our dynamic team.
n
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated hospitality professional to play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences across our restaurant and events operations. You will support daily operations, lead a high-performing team, and uphold Hyatt's premium service standards.
n
Some of the responsibilities include:
n
n
Supervise and support Food & Beverage team members to deliver Supervise and support Food & Beverage team members to deliver professional hospitality service
n
Oversee daily restaurant and event operations
n
Manage cash handling procedures, including opening and closing registers
n
Train and onboard new employees in line with Hyatt standards
n
Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and OHS requirements
n
Support the implementation of Hyatt brand standards and service excellence
n
Respond to guest complaints, coordinate with team members, and follow up to ensure issues are resolved satisfactorily.

About the Candidate
n
n




2 years minimum of experience as a Supervisor in a fast-paced 5 star hotel restaurant environment
n
Minimum 2 years of section waiter experience
n
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
n
Strong guest service skills
n
Excellent communication, problem-solving ability and can do mindset
n
Barista experience or the ability to prepare quality coffee is highly regarded.
n
Sound knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service
n
n
