We are currently seeking experienced HR Drivers / Multi-System Operators (MSOs) to join a busy waste and resource recovery operation based in Morningside.

There are multiple positions available, with the opportunity to secure ongoing work through to at least February ****, with the potential for further extension.

What's on Offer

$***** per hour – Waste Award Grade 6
n
Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm
n
Occasional Saturday work, generally 7:00am – 11:00am
n
Contract through to at least February ****
n
Potential for extension
n
Morningside location
n
Multiple vacancies available

About the Role
n
You will operate a range of collection and transport vehicles, including:
n
n
Hook Lift trucks
n
Rear Lift vehicles
n
Pantech vehicles
n
n
The role will suit an experienced HR driver who enjoys a varied,



hands‐on driving position and takes pride in operating and maintaining vehicles to a high standard.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Safely operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with training, instructions and operating procedures
n
Complete daily pre‐start, maintenance and safety checks
n
Ensure vehicles are kept clean and presented to a high standard, inside and out
n
Safely load, transport and unload materials as required
n
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
n
Report vehicle or equipment issues promptly
n
Work efficiently while maintaining a strong focus on safety and service
n
n
About You
n
To be successful, you'll have:
n
n
Current unrestricted HR licence (or equivalent Class 4 NZ licence)
n
Previous experience operating heavy vehicles
n
Hook Lift experience highly desirable
n
Waste industry experience advantageous
n
Strong mechanical aptitude
n
Excellent safety awareness
n
Positive work ethic and reliable attendance
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Pride in vehicle presentation and maintenance
n
n

Workplace health and safety requirements prior to commencement
