Key responsibilities
n
n
Perform mobile mechanical repairs and roadside mechanical assistance
n
Attend customer, business and fleet locations to inspect and repair vehicles
n
Conduct comprehensive workshop and on-site vehicle inspections
n
Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic vehicle faults
n
Carry out logbook servicing and general vehicle maintenance
n
Repair and replace engines, transmissions, clutches and driveline components
n
Inspect, repair and replace brakes, suspension and steering components
n
Perform cooling-system repairs, including radiators, water pumps and thermostats
n




Repair engine oil, coolant and transmission-fluid leaks
n
Replace timing belts, drive belts, alternators and starter motors
n
n
About you
n
n
Previous experience as a motor mechanic
n
Experience performing mobile mechanical repairs and vehicle inspections
n
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
n
Ability to work independently at mobile job sites
n
Good knowledge of petrol and diesel vehicles
n
Experience using automotive scan tools and workshop equipment
n
Valuable communication and customer-service skills
