Finance & Accounts Assistant - Part Time
Australian Scaffold is seeking a
reliable, organised and detail-focused Finance & Accounts Assistant
to provide day-to-day support to our Finance team.
This is a permanent part-time position starting at
3 hours per day, Monday to Friday
, with the prospect to increase to 4 hours and eventually 5 hours per day as the role develops. You'll help keep our payments, invoices, records and Finance administration accurate, organised and up to date.
Key responsibilities
Apply daily customer payments to sales invoices
Move payable invoices from the Finance email inbox into Xero
Ensure financial data is entered accurately and completely
Check information and follow up anything missing or unclear
Assist with filing and maintaining organised records
Assist with ad hoc administrative duties around the office as required
About you




Exceptionally diligent, reliable, organised and detail-focused
Takes ownership and follows things through
Does things the right way, seeks clarity when needed and doesn't cut corners
Has a practical roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and a genuine willingness to learn
Pleasant, professional and easy to work with
Previous experience in accounts, bookkeeping, finance administration or a similar role
Confidence working with numbers and financial information
Experience with Xero and/or MYOB would be highly regarded
Strong accuracy and attention to detail
Full Australian working rights
Ability to reliably commute to Riverstone office five days per week
