Job Description
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Café Assistant to join our team for a temporary 4-month position over the busy Christmas and summer period.

This role will be approximately 2-3 days per week ****** hours), with the possibility of additional shifts throughout the week, particularly during periods of staff leave.
n
We are a small, hardworking team and pride ourselves on maintaining a clean, hygienic and welcoming workplace. We're looking for someone who is reliable, honest, friendly and happy to jump in wherever needed.

Our Hours

Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 4:00pm
n Saturday: 7:30am - 5:00pm
n Sunday: 8:00am - 5:00pm

About You
n
n
Previous coffee-making experience preferred
n
Previous café, hospitality or customer service experience advantageous
n
Understanding of workplace health and safety
n
Reliable, honest and hardworking
n
Friendly, positive and confident dealing with customers
n
Comfortable working as part of a small team
n

Tasks & Responsibilities

Serving customers and providing friendly,
welcoming service
n
Preparing coffee and other beverages
n
Basic food preparation and handling
n
Processing customer payments
n
Taking booking calls and entering customer bookings
n
Maintaining customer profiles
n
Contacting customers when their vehicles are complete
n
Communicating with staff in the wash bays
n
Maintaining a clean and tidy café and customer area
n
Following cleaning schedules and completing general cleaning duties
n
