As a Vital Health Dietitian, you'll work within a multidisciplinary team delivering services across clinic, community and outreach settings throughout the St George region.
This is a varied role for an experienced Dietitian looking to work across a broad clinical caseload while making a meaningful contribution to healthcare delivery in a rural community.
Your caseload will reflect local service needs, with plenty of variety and the opportunity to develop areas of clinical interest over time.
Key responsibilities
Delivering personalised nutrition interventions across chronic disease management, paediatrics, aged care, gut health, eating disorders and home enteral nutrition
Providing services across clinic, community, school, early childhood, home visit and telehealth settings
Supporting clients across rural and Indigenous communities, with care shaped around individual and local needs
Working alongside Speech Pathologists (SPs), Occupational Therapists (OTs), Physiotherapists (PTs), Exercise Physiologists (EPs) and Allied Health Assistants (AHAs)
Contributing to Vital Health's Sleep Health service, including opportunities to support sleep studies and work alongside Sleep Specialists
Supporting the Right Care Right Place initiative, helping improve access to appropriate support for people experiencing disordered eating and eating disorders
Participating in outreach and community-based service delivery as part of a supported regional team
About you
Recognised tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics
Eligibility for Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status




Previous clinical experience as a Dietitian
Full working rights in Australia
Current driver's licence
Enjoys variety and is comfortable working across different service settings

Comfortable managing caseload with a level of autonomy while remaining connected to a broader clinical team
