We are looking for a passionate Educator / Lead Educator to join our supportive, experienced and genuinely connected team.
We are a small, four-room privately owned centre with a strong sense of community.

The Role
We have opportunities for both Educators and Lead Educators, with the Lead Educator position working within our 2–3 year old room.
As a Lead Educator, you will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with children and families, work collaboratively with your team, and take an active role in shaping the learning environment, curriculum and daily experiences of your room.
Because we are a small four-room service, you won't feel like just another staff member.
You will know the children across the centre, work closely with the wider team and have a genuine voice in our practice and culture.
You will be supported by an experienced leadership team and a collaborative group of educators who genuinely value one another.
Key responsibilities
Support children's learning through play, exploration and meaningful relationships
Plan and facilitate engaging indoor and outdoor learning experiences
Be actively involved in our nature-based and outdoor program
Support children's emotional wellbeing, confidence and developing independence
Encourage curiosity, creativity, problem-solving and risk-taking through loose parts and open-ended play
Build respectful and genuine relationships with children, families and colleagues
Contribute to a positive team culture and high-quality learning environment
For the Lead Educator role, take responsibility for the planning, implementation and reflection of the 2–3 year old program in collaboration with your team
About you
You will be someone who:
Holds a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care, or is currently working towards one
Ideally has 2+ years' experience in an early learning environment
Is passionate about play-based learning and creating meaningful experiences for children
Has an interest in nature-based learning and outdoor education — experience is welcome, but mentoring and support will be provided
Is warm,



nurturing and genuinely enjoys being with children
Is confident working collaboratively as part of a team
Brings a positive, professional and solutions-focused approach
Is committed to ongoing learning and professional development
For the Lead Educator role, has experience leading or coordinating a room and is confident with programming, documentation and building strong family relationships
