About the Role
n
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will play a key role in preparing new and used plant equipment for delivery, as well as supporting the wider workshop team with servicing and repairs. Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Carrying out pre-delivery inspections and builds on new plant equipment, including Kobelco, ASV, Merlo, Hydrema and New Holland machines
n




Assisting with routine servicing and repairs on plant and construction equipment
n
Undertaking general fault diagnosis and mechanical repairs as required
n
Maintaining a clean, secure and efficient workshop environment
n
Working collaboratively with the Service Manager and workshop team to meet customer and production timeframes
n
Maintaining accurate service and inspection records
n

What You Will Need
n
n
A genuine interest in and willingness to learn plant/heavy equipment mechanics — trade-qualified technicians and less experienced candidates (including apprentices) are both encouraged to apply
n
Current car driver's licence
n
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
n
Previous experience working on construction, earthmoving or plant equipment
n
Experience with any of Kobelco, ASV, Merlo, Hydrema or New Holland equipment
n
