Job Description
You will be responsible for controlling the day-to-day movement of inventory throughout the warehouse and ensuring the operation remains organised, accurate and ready for each day's activities. This is not a desk-based inventory position. You will be someone who enjoys being on the warehouse floor and taking ownership of the daily movement and organisation of stock.

Key responsibilities

Review daily inbound and outbound stock movements
n
Coordinate where incoming pallets and products are stored
n
Manage stock movements, put-away and replenishment throughout the warehouse
n
Ensure stock is stored in the correct warehouse and racking locations
n
Work closely with the warehouse, picking and dispatch teams
n
Monitor warehouse space and help maintain an organised layout
n
Identify and resolve misplaced stock and inventory discrepancies
n
Assist with cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy
n
Ensure stock movements are correctly recorded in the system
n




Make sure the warehouse is organised and ready for the following day's operations

About you
n
n
Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations or stock control
n
Robust knowledge of warehouse stock movements and racking/location systems
n
Comfortable working both on the warehouse floor and with inventory/WMS systems
n
Highly organised and enjoys keeping a warehouse structured and under control
n
Can communicate clearly with warehouse staff, supervisors and management
n
Takes ownership and follows problems through until they are resolved
n
Confident working in a busy and growing distribution environment
n
Good computer and inventory-system skills
n
Forklift experience/licence would be highly regarded
n
