Sara Lee is looking for aMaintenance Electrician.This is a hands-on role within a fast-pacedFMCG manufacturing environment, supporting production throughbreakdown response, fault finding, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvementinitiatives.
You'll play a key role in ensuringplant reliability, equipment uptime, and safe production operationsin a manufacturing environment.
Shift & Flexibility
This is mainly aMonday to Friday position, offering stable weekday work with occasional weekend overtime for planned maintenance and projects.
You'll also be required to support the team by coveringafternoon and night shifts when needed, providing essentialleave coverageto ensure continuity ofbreakdown response, maintenance support, and production uptimeacross the site.
Key Responsibilities
Respond toelectrical breakdownsand provide rapid fault diagnosis and repair
Carry outplanned preventative maintenance (PPM)on manufacturing equipment
Install, test, and commissionelectrical systems and machinery
Performfault finding and troubleshootingacross production and packaging equipment
Supportequipment reliability, downtime reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives
Work closely with production and engineering teams to optimise plant performance
Ensure all work complies withsafety, quality, and food manufacturing standards




About You
QualifiedNSW Licensed Electrician(essential)
Experience inmanufacturing, FMCG, food production, or fast-paced maintenance environments
Strongfault finding, breakdown response, and problem-solving skills
Experience withpreventative maintenance and plant reliability(highly regarded)
Basicautomation / PLC exposuredesirable but not essential
Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple teams
A proactive, solution-focused mindset
