Transport Operations & Depot Coordinator
This is a varied role combining transport operations, customer service, warehouse duties and day-to-day depot compliance.
It would suit someone with transport, logistics or warehousing experience who enjoys taking ownership of their work and isn't looking for a purely desk-based position.
Key responsibilities
Coordinating and allocating our local fleet
Managing customer bookings, quotes and general enquiries
Entering, allocating and monitoring jobs through our Transport Management System
Communicating with drivers and resolving day-to-day operational issues
Assisting with interstate operations when required
Checking completed jobs and charges prior to invoicing
Preparing basic weekly truck performance reports
Loading and unloading
Receiving, checking, picking and putting away warehouse freight
Maintaining an organised warehouse and depot
About you




Has experience in transport, logistics, freight or warehousing
Is organised and able to manage multiple priorities
Is confident dealing with customers and drivers
Has positive computer and administration skills
Is comfortable working both in the office and warehouse
Has a practical, problem-solving attitude
Takes ownership and follows tasks through
Has a strong focus on safety and compliance
Experience with a Transport Management System, fleet compliance, NHVAS or Chain of Responsibility would be highly regarded
