Job Description
Bentley Quarry is seeking an experienced Loader Driver to join our operations team on a full-time basis in Bentley, NSW ****.
This is a crucial position within our quarry operations, where you will be responsible for operating heavy plant machinery to load and transport materials efficiently and safely.
As a Loader Driver, you will play a vital role in maintaining the productivity and safety standards of our quarry operations, ensuring that all materials are handled according to our strict quality and safety protocols.
Key responsibilities
Operate front-end loaders and other heavy plant machinery to load trucks, storage areas and other designated locations with quarry materials
Perform pre-start checks and routine maintenance on plant equipment to ensure optimal operational condition
Follow all safety protocols, standard operating procedures and site-specific requirements at all times
Maintain accurate records of materials loaded, equipment usage and daily operational activities
Communicate effectively with other team members, supervisors and truck drivers to coordinate loading operations and ensure workflow efficiency
Monitor stockpile levels and material quality, reporting any issues or concerns to management
Operate equipment in compliance with environmental regulations and company policies
Contribute to a positive and safe workplace culture by actively participating in toolbox meetings and safety initiatives
What we're looking for
Proven experience operating front-end loaders and similar heavy plant machinery in a quarry or construction environment
Valid White Card (Construction Induction) and willingness to maintain all necessary safety certification
Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety practices




Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced operational environment
Physical fitness and ability to work in various weather conditions
Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail in equipment operation and maintenance
Preferably 5+ years of experience in quarry, mining or heavy plant operations
Experience with multiple types of plant equipment and familiarity with quarry operations
