Position
n
As a Financial Accountant, you'll work closely with commercial leaders to understand performance, optimise spend and identify opportunities for improvement. You'll provide trusted financial advice while promoting a culture of transparency, accountability and strong financial management.

You will:
n
n
Partner with Executive and Commercial Directors to understand budgets, performance and key business drivers.
n
Provide timely management reporting, including variance analysis, commentary and actionable business insights.
n
Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes, including coordination of divisional inputs.
n
Identify performance improvement opportunities, manage costs and recommend best-practice initiatives.
n
Prepare ad hoc financial analysis and reporting for Executive leadership and the Board.
n




Complete month-end processes, including accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.
n
Train and support business stakeholders on financial matters, systems and policies.
n
Support audit activities, finance system improvements and promote financial accountability across the business.

Profile
n
n
CPA/CA
qualification/degreein
Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline.
n
Strong technical financial and management accounting knowledge.
n
Relevant experience in management reporting and financial business partnering.
n
Strong analytical, problem-solving and financial modelling skills.
n
A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to ask questions, challenge assumptions and influence outcomes.
n
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP and advanced Microsoft Excel is highly desirable
