Qualified Airconditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic

$80,000 - $100,000 per annum

Mayfair Enterprises are looking for a qualified and experienced Airconditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team in Mackay.
n
To be considered for this position, you will need to demonstrate a level of skill commensurate with a relevant Trade Certificate or higher qualification, and at least one year of relevant employment experience OR at least three years of relevant employment experience as an Airconditioning and Refrigeration Technician.
n
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
n
n
Adjusting system controls and reassembling systems;
n
Brazing and welding pipes to connect equipment, and checking alignment and accuracy of fit;
n




Checking refrigeration & air conditioning systems to diagnose faults and repairing and replacing defective components;
n
Drilling holes, installing mounting brackets and cutting, bending and threading piping to fit infrastructure;
n
Filling systems with gas or fluid to check for leaks, and removing test gas and fluid using vacuum pumps and filling with refrigerant;
n
Installing and repairing domestic and commercial HVAC systems;
n
Installing and repairing compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators, switches, and copper lines for steam, gas, refrigerant, compressed air, oil and chilled water;
n
Maintaining works log by recording malfunction causes and action taken;
n
Test-operating refrigeration systems, checking mechanisms and making adjustments.

This is a full time position, an immediate start is available. A remuneration package of $80,000 - $100,000 per annum is on offer to the successful candidate.
