An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Commercial Analyst to join a well-established, growing national organisation.

Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will play a key role in driving commercial performance across a complex, operationally focused business. Partnering closely with Operations and other key stakeholders, you will translate financial and operational data into meaningful insights that improve profitability and support better decision‐making.
n
This is a hands‐on commercial finance role offering a strong mix of business partnering, financial modelling, forecasting and process improvement. You will also have the opportunity to enhance reporting capabilities through Power BI, Excel and other analytical tools.

Duties

Partner with operational leaders to understand performance drivers and identify commercial opportunities
n
Analyse revenue, costs and profitability across a national branch network
n
Develop financial models and business cases to support operational and strategic decisions
n
Own budgeting and forecasting processes, identifying key risks and opportunities
n
Deliver insightful weekly and monthly reporting, dashboards and KPI analysis
n
Evaluate commercial initiatives, track benefits and assess financial outcomes
n
Analyse commission structures and provide recommendations to improve performance
n
Review commercial agreements and assess financial implications and risks
n
Drive improvements in reporting, automation and financial processes
n

Skills and Experience
n
n
6+ years' experience in commercial finance, FP&A; or a similar analytical role
n
CA/CPA qualified or equivalent, preferred
n
Strong financial modelling, analytical and problem‐solving capabilities
n
Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query
n
Experience with Power BI or similar reporting and analytical tools
n
Proven ability to partner with operational and non-finance stakeholders
n
Commercially curious, proactive and comfortable challenging the status quo
n
Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations
n
