Job Description
Your role will be varied, hands-on and rewarding, with opportunities to gain experience across many areas of general practice and procedural medicine. You will be working in a busy medical practice alongside 12 GPs, specialists and a wide range of allied health professionals, including a gynaecologist, dermatologist and surgeons. Our nursing team is made up of AINs, ENs and RNs, and we pride ourselves on working together as a team while also giving our nurses the chance to work independently and build their skills.

Key responsibilities

Chronic Disease Management including Care Plans, Health Assessments & Diabetes Cycle of Care
n
ECG's & Spirometry
n
Assisting doctors with minor surgical procedures
n
Daily co-ordination of the treatment room, stock control and medical equipment maintenance
n
Implementing and practicing infection control as per Accreditation Standards
n
Assisting in skin excision procedures
n
Vaccinations and immunisations
n
Wound care and dressings
n
UV skin treatments
n
Driving medicals
n
Mining medicalsLED therapy
n
Assisting with vasectomies
n

About you
n

Registered/Enrolled
Nurse with current AHPRA registration
n




Experience in general practice is desirable, but we are happy to support the right person
n
