Inside Out Therapy has three purpose-built clinics based on the northside of Brisbane, sharing our one big goal: providing quality and meaningful support to Neurodivergent children, teens and families to help each individual live an authentic and healthy life.

About the Role
Due to an internal promotion, Inside Out is looking for a qualifiedOccupational Therapistto become the newTeam Leadin ourZillmereclinic.
Wearing your Team Lead hat, you will:
Guide and mentor a multidisciplinary teamto deliver high-quality therapy supports to our clients.
Foster a friendly and supportive team environmentwhere clinicians feel safe ask questions and voice their concerns.
Oversee the performance of the Zillmere clinical team, including managing caseloads, supporting team development,



conducting performance reviews, approving leave applications, and ensuring adherence to IOT's policies, procedures and processes.
Work closely with the Practice Manager todrive continuous improvementand ensure the smooth running of the Zillmere clinic.
Be adirect line of communicationbetween management and your team.
In addition, in your Clinical role, you will:
Support a reduced caseload of clients(through weekly or fortnightly appointments), offering play-based, relationship-focused and neurodiverse affirming approaches to enable each child to explore their identity, build their social emotional capacity and develop positive relationships.You won't be sitting at a desk writing endless reports - you will be focused on therapy!
Engage children inplay-based therapyto develop their skills in your chosen discipline; whether that be Speech, OT, Physiotherapy, Psychology or Counselling.
Use a range of standardised, informal and observational assessments to gather information and then develop and implementindividualised treatment plansfor your clients.
Work closely with familieson their therapy journey.
Liaise with external stakeholdersto ensure what you do in the clinic can be utilised in the child's everyday contexts.
Work harmoniously with a passionate and dedicatedmulti-disciplinary teammade up of Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, Counsellors and Allied Health Assistants.
See no more than six clients per day, three and a half days per week.
These days will be made up of 50-minute appointments at 8am, 9am, 10am, 1pm, 2pm and 3:15pm, giving you 2 hours of non clinical time per day.
Leave each day no later than 4:30pm!
This is a role for someone who is genuinely interested in a leadership role and also enjoys working with children and caregivers.

About You
You are our ideal candidate if you have:
AnAllied Health Professionalwith a degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA
Experience with and confidence in working with children
Astrong commitment to learning and growingas an individual and as a clinician through truly rewarding and complex work with children and families
Areal passion for working with clients who are Neurodivergent, preferably with some experience in working with Autism, ADHD and/or trauma
Acar and driver's licence
A Queenslandworking with children check(blue card)
