Job Description
Due to the pipeline of work, we are a fast paced organisation experiencing remarkable growth and are looking to expand our team. We are looking for a highly experienced, and motivated Estimator with experience working on civil/bridge infrastructure and road projects. This role is based in Gregory Hills in the new business precinct area that is rapidly expanding.

Key responsibilities

Compile and prepare first principle estimating, resource-based cost estimates with fully resourced program using company-supported estimating software.
n
Provide data-base management services and reporting.
n
Analysis and review of tender requirements.
n
Development of program of work in consultation with the delivery team.
n
Perform quantity take-off from construction drawings and other defined documents.
n
Managing the review process to ensure award of subcontracts within required timeframe and budget.
n
Prepare scope of works for tender packages to accompany request for quotations issued to subcontractors.
n
Liaise and manage consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors during tender, post-tender, and construction.
n
Commercial and technical risk assessment analysis.

About you
n
n
Degree qualified or equivalent in Engineering,



Quantity Surveying or similar.
n
Minimum 2 years of civil estimating experience specifically within the Australian market is required.
n
Experience and success in cost planning and tendering construction projects across multiple market sectors.
n
Familiarity with Australian construction delivery and construction models and contracts.
n
Cubit Estimating Software experience is preferred, however training will be provided to suitable candidates.
n
Advanced skills in Excel.
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
FRP experience is essential for this role.
