Job Description
This is a permanent casual position with the opportunity to transition to full time after proving yourself. You will perform quality checks on inventory, operate a forklift, strap and pack stock onto delivery trucks, and provide customer service when loading and unloading customer and supplier orders. You will work Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 3:00pm with no weekends or public holidays.

Key responsibilities

Perform quality checks on inventory

Strap and pack stock onto delivery trucks

Manual lifting
n
Provide customer service when loading and unloading customer and supplier orders
n
Get on/off forklift to load dunnage in between packs
n
Communicate and cooperate with Management
n
Report any discrepancies
n
Comply with all procedures and rules
n
Perform other duties as required to support the Production team
n
About you
n
Minimum 5 years Forklift license




n
Manual drivers license (preferred but not essential)
n
Professional attitude and reliable
n
Self-driven with ability to consistently meet all deadlines
n
Able to work under pressure and attend to any ad hoc functions as may be required
n
Adopts a professional approach to own accountability
n
Solid attention to detail and excellent English and numerical skills
n
Strong reading comprehension and numerical accuracy essential
n
Willing to work overtime hours
n

Stable income with guaranteed hours
n
Pay rate $***** per hour + Overtime Penalty Rates + Superannuation (based on candidate experience)
