Clinical Educator – Part Time (48 hours per fortnight)

Wongaburra is seeking an enthusiastic Clinical Educator to join our Clinical Care team. This is a rewarding part-time role (48 hours per fortnight) with genuine flexibility around days and hours, ideal for someone who wants to make a real difference without full-time intensity.

About the role
n
You'll be the driving force behind continuous learning and clinical excellence across our Residential Care, Home Care and Support Services teams. Your work will directly support safe, person-centred care that meets Aged Care Quality Standards and reflects best practice.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Identifying training needs through incidents, audits, clinical indicators and feedback
n
Designing and delivering engaging education sessions, workshops and practical skills training
n
Supporting orientation, competency assessments and mandatory training
n
Developing resources, skills matrices and simulation-based learning
n
Evaluating education effectiveness and contributing to clinical governance and continuous improvement
n
Collaborating closely with the Clinical Care Manager, Charge Nurses, Home Care and Support Services teams, and HR
n
n
You'll have the opportunity to influence practice on the floor, build staff capability,



and help create a culture where learning is valued and clinical excellence is the norm.

About you
n
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse
n
Experience in clinical education, competency assessment or staff development (ideally in aged care or a related healthcare setting)
n
Sound knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards, infection prevention & control, and contemporary clinical practice for older people
n
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or willingness to obtain) is highly regarded
n
Solid facilitation, communication and organisational skills
n
A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a genuine passion for developing others
n
Current police check (or ability to obtain one)
