DNA Fencing is seeking an experienced
Fence Sub Contractor specialising in Timber, Glass, and Colourbond fencing
to join our team. This is a hands-on position based in
Brisbane, QLD
, where you will be responsible for installing high-quality fencing solutions for our diverse client base. As a key member of our installation team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional workmanship and ensuring customer satisfaction on every project we undertake.
Key responsibilities
Install timber, glass, and Colourbond fencing systems to specification and industry standards
Prepare and measure fencing sites, including marking out fence lines and identifying underground utilities
Excavate and set fence posts using appropriate materials and techniques to ensure structural integrity
Cut, assemble and fit fencing panels and components with precision and attention to detail
Apply finishes and treatments to timber fencing as required
Operate and maintain hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Ensure all work sites are kept clean and tidy throughout the installation process
Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members and clients regarding project progress
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies on site
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a fence installer, with demonstrated expertise in timber, glass, and Colourbond fencing installation
Strong knowledge of fencing materials, installation techniques and industry best practices




Proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in fencing work
Ability to read and interpret fencing plans and specifications accurately
Physical fitness and capability to perform manual labour, including lifting, climbing and working at heights
Current driver's licence and reliable transport to attend multiple job sites
A commitment to health and safety compliance and a robust safety record
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred: Current white card or general construction safety induction certification
Preferred: Experience with residential and commercial fencing projects
