Job Description
This is an end-to-end client accounting role. You will be assigned a portfolio of clients and will manage their day-to-day finance functions with the assistance of other team members. The role will suit someone who enjoys variety, is comfortable moving between multiple clients in a day and can manage competing priorities and deadlines. This is an outsourced finance role and does not involve the preparation of income tax returns.

Key responsibilities

Manage the bookkeeping and finance functions for an allocated portfolio of clients
n
Process bookkeeping transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
n
Prepare and process supplier payment runs
n
Raise invoices on behalf of clients
n
Process end-to-end payroll
n
Complete monthly and annual payroll reconciliations
n
Manage superannuation lodgements and payments
n
Prepare payroll tax and WorkCover lodgements
n
Prepare and lodge ATO Business Activity Statements (BAS)
n
Complete STP submissions and related payroll compliance tasks
n

About you
n
n
Previous experience working in an accounting or bookkeeping firm while managing multiple clients
n
Strong practical bookkeeping and accounting experience, including accounts payable, accounts receivable,



reconciliations and financial reporting
n
Demonstrated payroll processing, payroll compliance and BAS experience
n
A degree in accounting or a related discipline, preferably
n
Strong Xero knowledge and experience, with familiarity using Employment Hero Payroll and robust Excel skills
n
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional, responsive and client-focused approach
n
The ability to work independently while also contributing to a team
n
The ability to manage competing deadlines across multiple clients
