Our client is a modern multidisciplinary allied health service specialising in neurological rehabilitation. Due to growing demand, they're welcoming a Speech Pathologist to their state-of-the-art Maitland clinic.

You'll work with adult clients presenting with complex communication and swallowing needs, alongside a team that values compassion, accountability, respect, collaboration, and outcomes. Utilise a wide range of AAC & AT, experience in this area not necessary due to their robust internal support.

About the role

You'll provide assessment and intervention for adults with neurological conditions, with a strong emphasis on functional, goal-driven therapy.

Key responsibilities include:
n

Assessment and therapy for clients with a broad range of neurological presentations
n
AAC & AT exposure while being provided with cutting edge tools and resources while having the ability to trial and tailor systems to each individual.
n
Delivering high-quality, evidence-based intervention for complex communication and dysphagia needs
n
Collaborative work with a multidisciplinary team
n
Setting functional goals with clients and supporting progress in an engaging, practical way
n
Contributing to the planning and delivery of clinic-based communication groups
n
Quality clinical documentation and reporting (systems in place to support productive note-taking and diary management)
n

Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 + Super (experience dependent)

Requirements/Skills
n

Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
n
Experience working with adult neuro clients
n
SPA membership
n
Drivers license and vehicle
n
Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
