We are seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead the daily operations of our fleet maintenance workshop in Smithfield.
n
Reporting to the Head of Fleet and maintenance, you will lead a team of Heavy Diesel Mechanics, coordinate maintenance activities and help ensure our fleet remains secure, compliant.

What you will enjoy doing
n
Supervise and coordinate daily workshop operations, repairs, servicing, and preventative maintenance activities.
n
Lead, coach, and support workshop personnel to achieve safety, quality, and performance objectives.
n
Monitor fleet availability, maintenance schedules, and breakdown response to minimise operational downtime.
n
Manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, OEMs, and warranty providers.
n
Ensure accurate maintenance records, compliance documentation, and system updates are maintained.
n
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workshop efficiency, reliability, and cost control.
n
What makes you great
n
Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle or Heavy Diesel Mechanic.
n
Strong experience in fleet, heavy vehicle, or diesel maintenance environments.
n
Proven leadership and team supervision skills.
n
Sound knowledge of safety, compliance, and maintenance documentation requirements.
n
Excellent planning, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.

Strong computer literacy and experience using maintenance management systems.
