About the Role
n
We are looking for a proactive, responsible and results-driven Freight Forwarding Sales Executive / Business Development Manager to develop new customers in Melbourne and across Australia.
n
This is a new business development role. We are looking for someone who actively creates opportunities rather than simply waiting for enquiries.
n
You will identify potential customers, approach Australian importers and businesses, build your own sales pipeline, follow up consistently and develop long-term customer relationships.
n
Key Responsibilities
n

Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities
n
Target Australian importers, wholesalers, distributors, retailers, e-commerce businesses and other potential customers
n
Generate leads through cold calling, email, LinkedIn,



networking and referrals
n
Build and manage your own sales pipeline
n
Understand customers' freight requirements and provide suitable logistics solutions
n
Prepare quotations and follow up proactively
n
Convert prospects into long-term customers
n
Respond to customer calls, emails and messages promptly and professionally
n
Take ownership of customer enquiries and follow issues through until resolved
n
Maintain regular communication with customers
n
Work closely with our China and Australia operations teams
n
Develop and maintain strong long-term customer relationships
n

Previous experience in freight forwarding, international logistics, import/export, B2B sales or business development is highly regarded.

Existing relationships with Australian importers or businesses involved in China–Australia trade would be an advantage.

Commission

In addition to your base salary and superannuation, you will receive:

15% commission on eligible Gross Profit generated from self-developed customers.

There is no artificial commission cap. The more profitable business you develop and retain, the more you can earn.

Full commission calculation and payment terms will be provided in the employment agreement.

Experience

freight forwarding, international logistics or import/export: 1 year (Preferred)
