About the Role
n
We are looking for a caring, organised and creative Centre Cook who enjoys preparing fresh, nutritious and delicious meals for young children.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Preparing nutritious morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea
n
Creating healthy, appealing and child-friendly meals
n
Catering for allergies, dietary requirements and cultural preferences
n




Maintaining high standards of kitchen hygiene and food safety
n
Managing kitchen supplies, ordering stock and maintaining stock rotation
n
Keeping accurate records in line with food safety requirements
n
Working collaboratively with educators and management
n
Contributing ideas to menus and meal planning
n
n
Experience working as a cook in an early childhood education and care setting will be highly regarded. A current Food Safety Supervisor certificate, or willingness to obtain one, is desirable.
