Townsville Cabinetry and Joinery (TCJ) is growing and we're looking for two experienced Leading Hand Cabinetmakers to join our team.
n
These are predominantly factory-based roles, leading a small crew and helping keep quality, productivity and workflow on track in our busy workshop.

Full-time, permanent role

Up to 10 hours overtime available each week

About the role
n
Working alongside the production team, you'll:
n
n
Lead and support a small team of cabinetmakers and apprentices
n
Keep production running smoothly and efficiently
n
Monitor quality, workflow and output
n




Manufacture and assemble high-quality cabinetry and joinery
n
Operate workshop machinery and equipment safely
n
Read and interpret plans and specifications
n
Assist with installations when required
n
Promote a safe, organised and productive workshop
n
n
About you
n
n
Trade-qualified Cabinetmaker (Certificate III or equivalent)
n
Strong cabinetmaking and joinery experience
n
Previous Leading Hand or supervisory experience preferred
n
Solid attention to detail and quality workmanship
n
Strong communication and organisational skills
n
Positive attitude and team-focused approach
n
