Rocklea Truck Partsis looking for a motivatedParts Interpreter / Parts Salespersonto join our busy truck dismantling and parts operation.
This isNOT your traditional Parts Interpreter job.
We specialise inAmerican, Japanese and European trucks, selling everything fromcomplete engines and gearboxes through to alternators, starters, suspension, electrical components and everything in between.
The role is heavily focused onsales, customer service and building relationships— finding the right part for the customer and getting the deal across the line.
$65,000–$75,000 retainer, depending on experience
Uncapped commission structure
Realistic and achievable sales targets
High performers can earn$200,000+ per year
The more you sell, the more you earn —there is no ceiling
Company phone provided
Taking phone and online enquiries
Identifying and sourcing truck parts
Quoting and negotiating with customers
Selling parts to workshops, transport companies, mechanics and the general public
Building and maintaining customer relationships
Working with our dismantling and yard teams to locate stock
Following up quotes and turning enquiries into sales




Using our computer systems and databases to manage enquiries and sales
Ideally, you'll have:
Experience withtrucks or truck parts
Parts Interpreter or mechanical experience
Aforklift licencewould be highly regarded
A confident and positive personality
A natural ability tosell and build relationships
The ability to work in a quick-paced environment
Most importantly, we're looking for someone whowants to sell and make money, not someone who simply wants to sit behind a parts counter.
Monday to Friday
7:30am – 5:00pm
This is a genuinely different role.
You'll be working in a fast-moving truck yard with a great team, dealing with all sorts of customers and trucks every day.
You'll learn the business, have plenty of variety and have the opportunity to build your own customer base.
It's challenging, it's rewarding and it's a hell of a lot of fun.
