Chef – Burleigh Heads, QLD Full-Time | $78,000 – $85,000 + Super

Staff 360 is recruiting an experienced Chef for Mowbray Park Surf Life Saving Club, located in Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast.

This is a full-time position working as part of an established kitchen team in a busy club workplace.

The Role Duties will include:
Preparing, cooking and presenting a range of meals to a consistently high standard
Preparing ingredients and managing daily food preparation requirements
Following menus, recipes and portion control standards
Monitoring food quality, presentation and consistency during service
Assisting with menu preparation and daily specials
Maintaining food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness standards
Monitoring stock levels, food storage and rotation
Assisting with ordering and receiving kitchen supplies
Minimising food waste and assisting with cost control
Operating and maintaining commercial kitchen equipment




Working closely with other chefs and kitchen staff during busy service periods
Ensuring meals are prepared efficiently and within required service times
Complying with workplace health and safety and food handling requirements

Requirements Applicants must have:
Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
Minimum 12 months relevant work experience as a Chef
Experience working in a commercial kitchen
Positive communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work effectively in a busy kitchen environment
Availability to work a rotating roster, including weekends as required

Employment: Full time
Base Salary: $78,000 – $85,000 per annum + superannuation
