Job Description

BESIX Watpac are looking for a Project Safety Advisor or Workplace Health Safety Environment (WHSE) Advisor to join our SA Construction team in delivering a range of major construction projects in Adelaide and the surrounding regions. Duties will include;
Undertake WHSE duties as directed by the WHSE Manager and Site Manager consistent with the requirements of the BESIX Watpac HSE Management Systems.
Proactively drive company safety, workplace and quality policies, practices and procedures in compliance with Management Plans and OH&S; legislative requirements to provide a safe workplace at all times.
Assist with the development and implementation of the Project Safety Management Plan.
Assist in the review of Protected Work Method Statements or equivalent provided by the subcontractors prior to commencement of work.
Facilitate the dissemination of health safety setting information to all relevant personnel.
