Day Shift – commencing 6:45am or earlier if needed, must be available to work weekends.
This position is an immediate start and long term, fulltime opportunity for the right candidate.
Pay rate $*****
Leading hand allowance $***** per day
Shower in/our allowance $5 per day

The ideal candidates will possess the following skills and attributes:
Experience in poultry farming
Ability to attend alarm call-outs in the absence of Farm Manager
Understanding feeding, watering,



ventilation and lighting systems
Ability to identify signs of illness, stress, or abnormal behaviour in birds and escalation appropriately
Knowledge of bio-security procedures
Proven ability to lead and support a team
Ability to allocate daily tasks, monitor performance, and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
Strong role model behaviour
Ability to identify hazards and ensure safe practices are followed
Commitment to enforcing PPE requirements and safe manual handling practices
Strong commitment to animal welfare
Clear and respectful verbal communication skills
Ability to give instructions
Confidence in raising issues
Ability to complete basic farms records
Basic computer literacy
Ability to work weekends
Current drivers licence
YOU MUST NOT OWN ANY POULTRY, BIRDS OR PIGS to be successful for this position.
Shower on and off to farm will be required,
Must have their own reliable transport as public transport is not available at the site location.
