Job Description
Additional opportunities have become available for experienced Medical Receptionists in a well-established and innovative Mental Health Practice.

We have additional full time positions (minimum 4 days) available, and are looking for someone that is proactive, friendly and agile.
n
NeuroCentrix is a private neuroscience facility dedicated to evidence-based assessment, treatment and research of memory and mood disorders. We have a reputation for providing the highest quality patient care whilst working within a friendly and supportive team environment. NeuroCentrix offers private psychiatry and psychology consulting, memory and mood clinics, research Trials, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), esketamine (Spravato) and donanemab (Kisunla) treatments.

As a key member of this team, you'll liaise between patients, psychiatrists, psychologists, clinicians, third-party stakeholders and dedicated admin teams to organise and monitor all administrative requirements for the Clinic.
n
Clinic times, 8am - 6pm, Monday to Friday.
n
The current roles have a requirement of 5 days full-time per week or a minimum of 4 days part-time per week.
n
Key duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
n
Greeting patients, attending to incoming telephone calls and assisting patients with general enquiries.
n
Registering new patients attending the clinic and maintain/update all records.
n
Create, cancel, or reschedule appointments for clients.
n
Diary management for psychiatrists and psychologists.
n
Position characteristics:
n
Experience working as a medical receptionist or similar within a medical practice preferred.
n
Previous experience using medical software (eg Clinic2Cloud) would be desirable.
n
Understanding and experience in billing Medicare, private health insurers, DVA, Workcover, TAC, claims and accounts.
n
Experience within the mental health field is desirable.
n
Outstanding customer service skills and an enthusiastic and positive 'can do' attitude.
n
Well organised and able to work well under pressure.
n
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
n
Meticulous attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
