Very busy sweeping company seeking Sweeper Operator with MR/HR truck licence to operating out of our Cairns location
n
n
Hourly rate - plus super
n
Overtime paid
n
Phone allowance
n
Casual rate - full time hours
n
Full time rate available
n
n
Along with performing your role to the highest level of safety and quality, you will be responsible for
n
n
Routine & daily checks of your vehicle in harmony with all NHVR & Company regulations.
n
Some mechanical knowledge of diesel engines & plant concepts advantageous
n
Previous experience an advantage but we are prepared to train candidates with the right qualities
n
n
Plant to be operated includes HINO trucks & MacDonald Johnson range of road sweepers. These are Dual Control Vehicles
n
The successful candidate will be
n
n
Self-motivated, reliable and flexible about working hours.
n
Must be prepared to work night shift when required
n
Need a clean bill of health and a good fitness level to alight from the vehicle many times a day.
n
Some manual labour operating leaf blower/rake /shovel etc
n
Prepared to undergo a full medical check.
n
Construction Industry Card (or prepared to obtain one prior to starting)
