n We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Assistant Catering Manager to support the leadership of our Catering Department and help drive exceptional service delivery across our food and beverage operations.
n
Working closely with the Catering Manager, this role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of the department, developing team members, maintaining service standards, and ensuring our members and guests enjoy outstanding hospitality experiences.
n

About the Role

As the Assistant Catering Manager, you will:
n
n
Support the Catering Manager in the day-to-day leadership and operation of the Catering Department.
n
Lead, coach and develop team members to deliver exceptional customer service and hospitality experiences.
n
Assist with rostering and daily operational planning to ensure service standards are achieved.
n
Monitor service standards, presentation, cleanliness and operational compliance across the Catering Department.
n
Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally, ensuring positive outcomes wherever possible.
n
Support onboarding,



training and development of team members.
n
Act in the Catering Manager role during periods of leave or absence.
n
Ensure compliance with relevant Acts (Registered Clubs Act, Liquor Act, Food Act, RSA, RCG, ARCG, Gaming Regulations) and ensure your team does too!
n

To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Previous leadership experience within a Registered Club, hospitality venue, hotel or similar customer focused environment.
n
Demonstrated experience leading teams in food and beverage operations.
n
A hands-on leadership style, with the ability to train, motivate and develop team members.
n
Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
n
Good availability across 7 days a week, including all public holidays, due to the rotation of the roster and business requirements
n
Current RSA and RCG qualifications for NSW, with the ability to apply them in a busy environment
n
First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain), excellent presentation standards, and a hands-on approach
n
