Rowlee is looking for an exceptional hospitality professional to join Rowlee Dining & Bar in the Orange Wine Region.
n
You might already be an Assistant Restaurant Manager — or you may be an outstanding Restaurant Supervisor, Senior Waiter, Chef de Rang, Sommelier, Food & Beverage Supervisor or Duty Manager who's ready for greater responsibility and your first step into restaurant management.
n
This is a hands‐on floor leadership role within an ambitious food and wine destination, working alongside an experienced restaurant and culinary team whose backgrounds include Felix, Brae, Est., Ormeggio at The Spit, Park Hyatt Sydney, Oakridge Wines and Stones of the Yarra Valley.

And you'll do it on a four-day working week.

The opportunity
n
Reporting to our Restaurant Manager, you'll play an important role in leading service, developing our front‐of‐house team and helping shape the next chapter of Rowlee Dining & Bar.
n
Our restaurant leadership brings experience from Felix and Brae, together with WSET Levels 2 and 3 and extensive experience across premium restaurant service, wine programs, training and team development.
n
Our culinary leadership brings more than 20 years' experience across food and hospitality, including experience at three‐hatted Est., two‐hatted Ormeggio at The Spit and Park Hyatt Sydney.
n
We're building a team with a clear ambition: to establish Rowlee as one of regional Australia's must‐visit food and wine destinations.
n
What you'll do
n
This isn't an office‐based management position. You'll be on the restaurant floor, leading by example and delivering the warm, polished and intuitive hospitality we want Rowlee to be known for.
n
Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, you will:

Help lead restaurant services and coordinate the floor
n
Support, supervise and develop the front‐of‐house team
n




Run sections and manage service flow
n
Deliver knowledgeable food, wine and beverage service
n
Anticipate guest needs and confidently resolve issues
n
Support team training and development
n
Maintain high standards of presentation and service
n
Contribute ideas to continually improve the guest experience
n
Work collaboratively with the kitchen, Cellar Door and wider Rowlee team
n
n
You'll also gain exposure to a broader hospitality business encompassing our estate vineyard and winery, Cellar Door, Garden Bar, weddings and events.
n
Who we're looking for
n
You don't need to be an Assistant Restaurant Manager already.
n
We're particularly interested in talented hospitality professionals who are ready to take the next step in their career.
n
You'll ideally bring experience in a quality restaurant, hotel or premium hospitality environment, together with:

Confidence running a section and supporting a busy service
n
A genuine interest in food and wine
n
Excellent communication and guest service skills
n
The ability to remain calm and organised under pressure
n
An eye for detail and high personal standards
n
A positive approach to leading and developing others
n
A desire to learn, take responsibility and progress
n
n
Previous management experience is welcome, but ability, attitude and potential matter more than your current job title.
