Job Description

Payroll Leadership
n
n
Lead end-to-end payroll operations.
n
Ensure all payroll cycles are processed accurately, compliantly and on time.
n
Oversee payroll governance, controls, reconciliations and statutory obligations.
n
Manage complex payroll matters and act as the senior escalation point.
n
Ensure payroll service delivery standards are achieved consistently.
n

Remuneration & Benefits
n
n
Lead the annual remuneration review process.
n
Develop and maintain salary frameworks and remuneration governance.
n
Provide remuneration and benefits advice to senior leaders.
n
Support workforce planning through remuneration analysis and reporting.
n
Recommend reward initiatives aligned to business objectives.
n
n
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
n
n
Lead, coach and develop a high-performing payroll team.
n
Build strong relationships across People & Culture, Finance and Operational leadership.
n
Drive continuous improvement projects and systems enhancements.
n
Support organisational change and payroll transformation initiatives.
n
n
Governance & Compliance
n
n
Ensure ongoing compliance with payroll legislation and industrial obligations.
n
Oversee reporting, auditing and payroll risk management activities.
n
Maintain strong internal controls and governance frameworks.
n
Deliver accurate payroll reporting and workforce insights to senior stakeholders.
n
n
The Successful Applicant
n
To be successful in this position, you will bring:
n
n
Significant experience leading payroll functions within large or complex organisations.
n
Demonstrated experience managing remuneration, reward or benefits programs.
n
Strong knowledge of awards, enterprise agreements and payroll governance.
n
Proven ability to lead and develop teams.
n
Experience driving payroll improvements, system upgrades or transformation projects.
n
Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability.
n
Advanced analytical and reporting skills, including Excel expertise.
n
Exposure to UKG/Kronos, Oracle HCM, ADP Payforce or similar payroll systems will be highly regarded.
n
