Bakers Delight Young & Glenmore Park is seeking motivated, enthusiastic, and energetic Qualified Baker to join the Bakery.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Making and preparing bakery items as per menu.
n
Ensuring the cleanliness of equipment and overall operational premises before initiating production, complying with occupational health and safety regulations.
n
Monitoring the quality of raw materials and accurately weighing ingredients for baking.
n
Expertly kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing,



and shaping dough and pastry goods.
n
Preparing various pastry fillings according to recipe specifications.
n
Regulating oven temperatures and closely monitoring product appearance to determine accurate baking times.
n
Coordinating the formation, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning, and cooling of batches of bread, rolls, and other pastry products.
n
Applying glazes to buns and pastries and decorating cakes with cream and icing to ensure a visually appealing product.
n
Operating machinery used for rolling and moulding dough and biscuit cutting.
n
Cleaning baking trays, tins, and other cooking equipment, including greasing where necessary.
n

Requirements:
n
n
A formal qualification in baking or similar discipline, or equivalent industry experience of atleast 1 year. The experience can be in any country.
