LO-GO Appointments QLD is currently seeking an experienced Senior Plumbing Officer for a temporary assignment with a Council located in South East Queensland.
The position is to provide Long Service Leave (LSL) coverage, commencing ASAP through to 12 March ****.
About the Role:
The Senior Plumbing Officer will provide advanced technical expertise in plumbing inspections and assessments, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and codes. The role will also provide mentoring and guidance to Plumbing Inspectors, operational leadership and support to the Team Leader in delivering high-quality plumbing services.
Skills and Experience:
Current Queensland Plumber and Drainer Licence.




Significant operational experience in plumbing inspections, including commercial applications.
Previous experience mentoring, supervising or providing technical guidance to staff.
Significant knowledge of the Plumbing and Drainage Act **** and Plumbing and Drainage Regulation ****.
Sound knowledge of the Planning Act ****, Building Act **** and Local Government Act ****.
Experience in complex compliance, enforcement and reporting processes.
Current Queensland C Class Driver Licence.
General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
