Due to continued growth and upcoming projects, we are seeking experienced Supervisors to join our operations team.
n
About the Role
n
These are hands-on, site-based role leadership roles responsible for coordinating crews, plant, subcontractors and daily site activities across civil construction projects.
n
We are currently recruiting for multiple Site Supervisor positions across upcoming NSW, SA and ACT projects.
n
The successful candidates will work closely with Project Managers, Area Managers and site teams to deliver projects safely, efficiently and to specification.
n
Supervisors will take a key leadership role across project delivery, planning, crew coordination, site productivity, safety and quality.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Supervise and coordinate daily site operations
n
Lead site crews and subcontractors, providing clear direction on daily tasks and priorities
n
Coordinate plant, equipment and resources across projects
n
Deliver works safely, on time and to specification
n
Monitor productivity, progress and quality outcomes
n
Conduct daily pre-starts and toolbox talks
n
Ensure site safety, quality and environmental requirements are implemented and maintained
n
Manage site documentation including dockets, pre-starts and SWMS
n
Identify and resolve site issues promptly, escalating where required
n
Promote a positive, safety focused and respectful site culture
n
Mentor and support crew members and developing operators
n




Operate plant and equipment where required
n
Coordinate daily construction activities and project sequencing
n
Monitor productivity, resourcing and project performance
n
Liaise with Project Managers and clients regarding project delivery outcomes
n
Support workforce planning, mentoring and development
n
Drive safety and quality across projects
n
n
Selection Criteria
n
n
Extensive experience in civil construction in a supervisory capacity
n
Bulk earthworks and/or pavement experience is highly regard and preferred
n
Strong understanding of construction methods and materials
n
Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans and site documentation
n
Strong verbal and written communication skills
n
Demonstrate commitment to safe work practices and leading by example
n
Experience operating and working around plant, vehicles and earthmoving equipment
n
Proven ability to lead crews and manage plant and resources on site
n
GPS and survey experience highly regarded
n
Willingness and ability to travel and work on regional projects
n
Construction Induction Card (White Card) – essential
n
Asbestos and Silica Awareness (or willingness to obtain)
n
Relevant plant tickets and competency verification (highly regarded)
n
Current Australian Drivers Licence
n
