About the role
n
The role provides leadership and oversight of the Victorian Transport Digital Engineering (VTDE) platform, ensuring technology is secure, reliable, resilient, cost-effective and aligned with business needs. It drives value from technology investments, improves user experience and ensures quality delivery, service continuity and compliance with government and industry standards.
n
Key responsibilities include strategic technical leadership, operational service delivery, stakeholder engagement, communication, risk management and assurance, and technology governance. The role ensures effective frameworks, policies, standards and controls are implemented, while managing risks, supporting informed decisions, driving continuous improvement and achieving organisational objectives.

Qualifications and experience
n
You'llbring:
n
n
Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Management, Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience (mandatory).
n
Demonstrated experience in digital engineering and spatial programs, with a graduate degree and appropriate professional software accreditation, including Autodesk Construction Cloud (mandatory).
n
IBM Maximo professional certification and demonstrated ability to adapt and perform effectively in quick-paced environments (desirable).
n
n
