We are seeking an experienced Senior Farm Hand to join a family-owned and operated dryland farming business located outside Moree, Current South Wales.

This is a full time, long-term role suited to someone who can work independently, take ownership of their work, and step into a leadership role during busy periods.

The Operation
The property operates a dryland cropping program including wheat, chickpeas, sorghum, barley and, at times, cotton, using modern John Deere machinery.

The Role
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Operation of farm machinery
Machinery maintenance, repairs and servicing
Welding and mechanical work as required
General farm labouring and property maintenance
Supervising and assisting casual staff during peak periods
Identifying jobs that need doing and managing tasks without supervision

What We’re Looking For
Previous broadacre farming experience is essential
Robust mechanical aptitude and welding ability




Ability to work independently and direct your own workload
Good communication skills and a personable approach when working with others
Safety awareness
Driver’s licence, reliable vehicle and work-related references
Fit, capable and reliable
