Workday Technical Specialist - HR Applications

The Role: This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative technology team as a Workday Application Specialist, providing hands‐on technical support across Workday and HR applications.
n
You'll troubleshoot complex issues, support releases and integrations, improve system performance and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
n
Working closely with technical teams, vendors and business stakeholders, you'll play a key role in keeping critical HR systems reliable, secure and fit-for-purpose.

Responsibilities

Provide support across Workday and HR applications.
n
Manage incidents, changes, releases and system enhancements.
n
Troubleshoot integrations, interfaces and data issues.
n
Work with vendors, technical teams and business stakeholders.
n
Support Workday upgrades, testing and lifecycle management.
n
Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
n
Ensure systems remain secure,



reliable and compliant.
n
Maintain key technical documentation and support processes.
n
n
Skills & Experience
n
n
Hands‐on Workday experience in large, complex environments.
n
Experience across 2+ Workday modules, such as HCM, Payroll, Learning, Talent, Recruitment or Integrations.
n
Strong application support, troubleshooting and problem‐solving skills.
n
Experience with ITIL, incident, problem and change management.
n
Robust communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non‐technical stakeholders.
n
Excellent attention to detail and technical documentation skills.
n

Desirable
n
n
Experience in government, regulated or enterprise environments.
n
Agile experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
n
Understanding of security, access controls and data protection.
