About the Role
n
As the Bid & Proposal Manager, you will own the end-to-end bid lifecycle, from opportunity qualification through to submission and post-bid reviews. Working closely with business leaders, subject matter experts and executive stakeholders, you will transform technical expertise into persuasive customer-focused proposals.
n
You will also play a key role in building Sovereign Capability Group's bid capability by developing proposal frameworks, content libraries, evidence repositories and AI-enabled tools that improve efficiency, consistency and win rates.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead and manage the complete tender and proposal process.
n
Coordinate RFIs, RFQs, EOIs, RFTs and other customer submissions.
n
Develop bid plans, schedules, governance activities and review processes.
n




Manage contributions from SMEs, pricing teams, legal advisors and executives.
n
Ensure submissions are compliant, compelling and aligned to customer requirements.
n

Content & Knowledge Management
n
n
Develop and maintain proposal templates, style guides and best practices.
n
Manage Sovereign Capability Group's proposal knowledge base and evidence repository.
n
Ensure claims and supporting information are accurate, evidenced and customer-focused.
n
Drive content reuse and efficiency across pursuits.
n
Monitor bid performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
n
Leverage AI-enabled solutions to improve proposal quality and productivity.
n
Facilitate lessons learned and continuous improvement activities following submissions.
n

About You
n
You are a highly organised proposal professional who combines strong writing capability with exceptional stakeholder management skills.
n
You will bring:
n

Demonstrated experience managing complex bids, tenders and proposals.
n
Experience supporting Government or Defence sector pursuits.
n
Strong project management and coordination capability.
n
Exceptional writing, editing and content synthesis skills.
n




High attention to detail and compliance requirements.
n
Commercial acumen and the ability to understand customer priorities.
n
Experience influencing senior stakeholders and coordinating multiple contributors.
n
Strong Microsoft 365 skills and confidence utilising AI-enabled tools.
