anzuk Education is partnering with a well-established early childhood provider to recruit an Assistant Director for their service near Auburn.
n
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Educator, Room Leader or existing 2IC who is ready to take the next step in their career.
n
You don't need extensive management experience. They're looking for someone dependable, confident with people and ready to develop their leadership skills within a supportive setting.
n
The opportunity Working alongside an experienced Centre Director, you'll be off the floor and involved in the day-to-day operations and leadership of the service.
n
The centre has a longstanding team, strong occupancy and a positive culture already in place.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Supporting the Centre Director with daily operations
n
Conducting centre tours and supporting new enrolments
n
Assisting families with CCS and general enquiries
n
Building strong relationships with children and families
n
Supporting and mentoring educators across the service
n
Providing guidance and support to teams within the rooms
n
Providing leadership coverage when the Centre Director is away
n
Supporting the ongoing quality and compliance of the centre
n
n
Who they're looking for This could suit an experienced Assistant Director or 2IC, but equally someone looking to make their first move into management.
n
You'll need:
n




n
Certificate III, Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care
n
Experience working within an early childhood setting
n
Confidence communicating with educators and families
n
A good understanding of the EYLF and National Quality Standards
n
A collaborative and approachable leadership style
n
Current Working With Children Check
n
Current Child Protection, First Aid and CPR
n
A strong understanding of child safety and safeguarding responsibilities
n
n
Previous Room Leader or 2IC experience is advantageous but isn't essential. An experienced Senior Educator with the right attitude and leadership potential will be considered.
n
Hours and flexibility:
n
This is a full-time, five-day position.
n
As the Assistant Director provides important operational coverage across the service, you'll need to be comfortable working a rotating roster.

The service pays above Award rates, with remuneration determined by qualification and experience. Applications are welcomed from Certificate III, Diploma and ECT-qualified candidates.
