We are seeking Emergency Medicine Registrars and Principal House Officers to join a supportive and well-established Emergency Department in one of Queensland's most desirable regional locations.

You will provide high-quality emergency medical care as part of an experienced multidisciplinary team while gaining exposure to a diverse range of adult and mixed emergency presentations.

The department features:

21 acute treatment bays
n
Two resuscitation bays
n
Four high-dependency bays
n
12 consultation bays
n
A dedicated 14-bed Short Stay Unit
n
Broad regional, rural and coastal referral exposure
n
Excellent clinical supervision and education
n
n
You will also contribute to clinical education,
service development, quality improvement and the ongoing delivery of an effective and equitable emergency service.

Accredited Emergency Medicine Training
n

About You
n
To be considered, you will generally require:
n
n
A recognised medical degree
n
Registration with the Medical Board of Australia
n
At least four years of postgraduate clinical experience
n
Previous emergency medicine or acute-care experience
n
Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills
n
A commitment to clinical education and continuous improvement
n
