About the role
n
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our growing team in Sydney CBD, working 2-3 days per week. This role is ideal for a nurse with experience in pre-employment medicals, occupational health or health assessments, who enjoys working in a rapid-paced workplace and delivering a high standard of clinical care. You will play an important role in delivering Pre-Employment Health Assessments (PHAs) for our clients while contributing to Actevate's mission of transforming workplace health and wellbeing.

What you'll be doing:
n
Conduct Pre-Employment Health Assessments (PHAs) and other workplace health assessments.
n
Complete health histories, clinical assessments and relevant screening requirements.
n
Assess candidates against the health requirements of specific roles and workplaces.
n
Accurately document assessment findings and maintain confidential clinical records.
n
Provide a qualified, supportive and positive experience for every candidate.
n
Communicate effectively with candidates, clients and the Actevate team.
n
Communicate to regional providers regarding referral requirements.
n
Complete high-quality risk reports.
n
Communicate verbally with employers about high-risk applicants.
n
Ensure assessments are delivered in accordance with relevant clinical, privacy, health and safety requirements.
n
Maintain a high standard of clinical practice, confidentiality and attention to detail.
n
Contribute to the continuous improvement of Actevate's health assessment services and processes.
n
Work collaboratively with the broader Actevate team to deliver outstanding client outcomes.
n
What we're looking for:
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
n
Previous experience in pre-employment medicals, occupational health, workplace health or health assessments.
n
Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
n
Strong attention to detail.
n
Experience with functional capacity or physical assessments.
n
Experience with occupational health screening.
n
Experience with audiometry, spirometry, ECG or other workplace health screening.
n
Commitment to confidentiality and professional standards.
n
A professional, approachable and candidate-focused manner.
