As a Cook in our residential aged‑care community, you’ll play a key role in delivering protected, nutritious, high‑quality meals that support the wellbeing and preferences of our residents.

Your Responsibilities: n

Prepare fresh, nutritious meals that cater to residents' individual dietary needs and preferences.
n
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, handling, and storage in accordance with relevant regulations.
n
Manage stock levels and assist with food ordering to ensure kitchen supplies are maintained.
n
Safely use and store kitchen chemicals and equipment in line with workplace procedures.
n
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to create a positive and supportive work environment.
n
Provide friendly, respectful, and responsive service to residents, visitors, and colleagues.
n




Adhere to Aged Care Quality Standards and organisational policies at all times.
n
Support a dementia-inclusive dining experience that promotes residents' dignity, choice, and wellbeing.
n

Who We’re Looking For: nn
Trade Certificate or Diploma in Cookery
n
Food Handling Safety Supervisor Certificate
n
Work experience in Residential Aged Care as Cook or similar experience within Hospitality/Health of at least 2 years experience
n
Ability to lead by example and train a team
n
Valuable computer literacy and documentation skills
n
