You will be responsible for a range of mechanical work including vehicle servicing and maintenance, mechanical repairs and fault diagnosis, diagnostic work and electrical fault finding, brake and suspension repairs, steering and driveline repairs, engine and cooling system repairs, turbo and oil cooler repairs, trailer and horse float servicing and repairs, trailer brakes, bearings, wiring, plugs and lighting, customer roadside and mechanical callouts during business hours only, carrying out inspections and providing accurate recommendations to customers, and maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop.

Vehicle servicing and maintenance
Mechanical repairs and fault diagnosis

Trailer and horse float servicing and repairs

About you
Is a fully qualified mechanic
Has solid hands on mechanical experience
Has strong diagnostic and problem solving skills
Can work independently without needing to be constantly supervised
Takes pride in their workmanship and attention to detail
Has good communication skills and can communicate professionally with customers and the team
Is reliable, punctual and takes responsibility for their work
Is willing to help the team rather than only doing the bare minimum
Has a positive attitude and is willing to continue developing their skills
Can work efficiently while still maintaining a high standard of workmanship
