An excellent opportunity for an experienced governance and risk professional to step into a senior role and influence organisation-wide governance, risk and assurance practices.

This position will suit someone who can combine strong technical governance and enterprise risk expertise with the confidence to advise senior leaders, challenge existing practices and drive meaningful improvement.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Lead and support enterprise risk, governance, assurance and performance frameworks
n
Provide high-level strategic advice to executives and senior stakeholders
n
Coordinate risk reviews, controls assessments and mitigation activities
n
Support internal audit, compliance, business continuity and broader assurance activities
n
Prepare high-quality executive briefs, reports, submissions and Board/committee papers
n
Review and improve governance policies, procedures, tools and reporting processes
n
Facilitate workshops, training and risk capability initiatives
n
Build strong relationships across internal business areas and government stakeholders
n
Contribute to strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives
n
n
About you
n
You will bring strong experience across governance,



enterprise risk, assurance or a related discipline, ideally gained within government or another complex and highly regulated environment.
n
You will also demonstrate:
n
n
Strong knowledge of contemporary governance and enterprise risk practices
n
Highly developed analytical and strategic thinking skills
n
Confidence advising and influencing senior stakeholders
n
Excellent written communication and executive-level reporting capability
n
Experience improving frameworks, controls, policies and processes
n
The ability to work autonomously and deliver outcomes in a complex environment
n
n
Qualifications in governance, risk, audit, business management or a related field will be highly regarded.
